1. Veterinary, sanitary and phytosanitary safety is ensured in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. In order to meet the quality and safety of agricultural products with international requirements, the State implements the following measures::

1) conducting state veterinary and sanitary control and supervision, quarantine phytosanitary control and supervision, phytosanitary control in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) prevention, diagnosis and elimination of especially dangerous animal diseases according to the list approved by the authorized body in the field of veterinary medicine;

3) organization of state artificial insemination points for farm animals, harvesting of livestock products and raw materials, slaughterhouses (slaughtering sites for farm animals), cattle burial grounds (biothermal pits), special storage facilities (burial grounds) for pesticides and containers from under them;

4) veterinary measures aimed at protecting the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and preventing the spread of diseases common to animals and humans;

5) phytosanitary measures aimed at preventing the spread of harmful and especially dangerous harmful organisms, protecting the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from quarantine facilities, as well as identifying, localizing and eliminating foci of their spread;

6) compensation for damage suffered by subjects of the agro-industrial complex as a result of the seizure and destruction of animals, products and raw materials of animal origin that pose a danger to animal and human health;

7) reimbursement to individuals and legal entities of the costs of planting and growing destroyed fruit and berry crops infected with bacterial burns of fruit trees.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 8, 2005 No. 66.

This Law defines the legal, organizational, economic and social foundations for the implementation of state regulation of the development of the agro-industrial complex and rural areas in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
