1. On the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is not allowed to sell jewelry and other products without an assay stamp, as well as an imprint of the nameplate affixed by the jewelry and other products manufacturing entity on all its own jewelry and other products.

Jewelry and other products are branded with a single assay stamp of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the codes of authorized organizations, the right to use which is granted by the authorized body in the field of technical regulation.

When artificial materials are used as inserts in jewelry and other products, labels must contain information that this stone is not precious.

4. The namesake is subject to mandatory registration with an authorized organization in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.

5. The authorized organization submits quarterly information about registered namesakes to the authorized body in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.

This Law regulates public relations arising in the sphere of production of precious metals and turnover of precious metals and precious stones, raw materials containing precious metals, jewelry and other products made of precious metals and precious stones.
