1. When breeding animals, the general requirements for animal husbandry provided for by this Law and other legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan must be taken into account.

2. If it is impossible to create the necessary conditions for the offspring of animals, the owners of the animal and (or) responsible persons ensure their sterilization.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of responsible treatment of animals in order to protect them, ensure safety, strengthen morality and respect the principles of humanity of society in the treatment of animals, as well as protect the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities in the treatment of animals.
