1. For a teacher who has started professional activity in a secondary education organization for the first time, a teacher who provides mentoring is assigned for the period of one academic year.

An additional payment is paid to the teacher for mentoring in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The procedure for the organization of mentoring and the requirements for teachers who provide mentoring are determined by the authorized body in the field of education.

This Law defines the status of a teacher, establishes the rights, social guarantees and restrictions, duties and responsibilities of a teacher.
