1. Applicants must meet the following qualification requirements in order to obtain a license:

1) to carry out the activities of a sweepstake or bookmaker's office, the presence of a building (part of a building, structure, structure) on the right of ownership, corresponding to sanitary-epidemiological and fire safety standards established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

1-1) for carrying out casino activities, the presence of a building (part of a building, structure, structure) on the right of ownership or other legal basis in a hotel complex of at least three stars, corresponding to sanitary-epidemiological and fire safety standards established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

1-2) for the operation of the slot machine room, the presence of a building (part of a building, structure, structure) on the right of ownership or other legal basis in a hotel complex of at least three stars category, in which the casino operates, in accordance with sanitary and epidemiological and fire safety standards established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) for the operation of the casino and the slot machine room, the availability of gambling equipment on the property right;

2-1) for carrying out the activities of the bookmaker's office and the totalizator, the availability of equipment for organizing and conducting bets on the right of ownership;

3) the existence of contracts with legal entities that have obtained a license to carry out security activities in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4) availability of developed rules for the operation of a gambling establishment, bookmaker's office or sweepstakes, acceptance of bets and gambling and (or) betting in Kazakh and Russian languages;

5) for the operation of the casino and the slot machine room, the availability of samples and nominations of the applied legitimization marks in Kazakh and Russian languages;

6) the applicant has security for each license in the form of mandatory reserves, determined by this Law (in monthly calculation indices established by the law on the republican budget), for carrying out the following types of activities in the field of gambling:

casinos and slot machine halls – in the amount of 60,000;

bookmaker offices – in the amount of 40,000;

Sweepstakes – in the amount of 10,000.

2. To obtain each license for the right to engage in activities in the field of gambling in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the applicant submits to the authorized body (licensor) documents confirming his compliance with the qualification requirements established by this Law.
