A foreign electronic digital signature bearing a foreign registration certificate is recognized in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the following cases::

1) the authenticity of a foreign electronic digital signature has been certified by a trusted third party of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) the person who signed the electronic document lawfully owns the private key of the foreign electronic digital signature;

3) a foreign electronic digital signature is used in accordance with the information specified in the registration certificate.;

4) it is formed by means of an electronic digital signature of a foreign certification center registered with a trusted third party of the Republic of Kazakhstan, or a foreign certification center registered with a trusted third party of a foreign state registered with a trusted third party of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 7, 2003 No. 370.

This Law is aimed at regulating relations arising from the creation and use of electronic documents certified by electronic digital signatures, providing for the establishment, modification or termination of legal relations, as well as the rights and obligations of participants in legal relations arising in the field of electronic document circulation, including civil law transactions.
