1. Lands provided for the construction and operation of gas supply facilities must comply with urban planning and environmental requirements established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The owner or land user is obliged to grant interested individuals and legal entities the right of limited purpose use of the land plot to which he owns the right of ownership or land use in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for access to gas supply facilities.

3. To carry out major repairs, maintenance, modernization and (or) reconstruction of gas supply facilities, the organization operating these facilities is provided with land plots for temporary land use in accordance with the Land Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law defines the legal, economic and organizational bases for regulating public relations in the field of gas and gas supply in the Republic of Kazakhstan and is aimed at creating conditions for meeting the domestic gas needs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as for efficient, reliable and safe operation of gas supply facilities.
