Article 13. Relations with the Parliament of the Republic of the Constitutional Law On the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The Government of the Republic has the right of legislative initiative, which is implemented exclusively in the Mazhilis of Parliament. The decision to introduce a draft legislative act is made by issuing a corresponding Government decree.

     2. Government of the Republic:

     1) ensures the execution of the laws of the Republic, controls their execution by ministries and local executive bodies;

     2) submits to the Parliament the republican budget and a report on its implementation;

     3) gives opinions on draft laws of the Republic providing for a reduction in government revenues or an increase in government spending;

     4) provides answers to requests from members of Parliament.

 

Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 18, 1995 No. 2688.

     This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the competence, organization and activities of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
