1. Machinery and equipment manufactured in the Republic of Kazakhstan or imported into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan are not subject to sale on the market if they may cause harm to human life, health and the environment.

Advertising products or other information about machines and equipment that misleads users about their safety and functionality, provided they are properly installed, maintained, operated, stored, destroyed, or disposed of, is not allowed.

2. The manufacturer, the authorized representative, and in their absence, the person placing the machines and equipment subject to mandatory conformity assessment on the market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, are required to take measures to confirm their compliance with the requirements of this Law and technical regulations.

3. Machines and equipment that do not have documents certifying their compliance with the requirements of this Law and technical regulations are not subject to placement and circulation on the market.

4. Equipment intended for installation in another machine that cannot function separately must be accompanied by a manufacturer's declaration in the form prescribed by the relevant technical regulations.

This Law regulates public relations in determining, establishing, applying and fulfilling requirements for machines and equipment, their life cycle processes, and establishes the legal basis for ensuring safety to ensure the protection of human life, health and the environment.
