1. This Law shall enter into force from the date of its official publication, with the exception of subitems 4) and 5) of paragraph 4 of Article 3, part two of paragraph 5 of Article 9 of this Law, which shall enter into force on January 1, 2013.

2. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/19/2023 No. 223-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

3. The documents listed in paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 9 of this Law, with the exception of birth certificates, shall be declared invalid if they do not contain a generated identification number from January 1, 2013.

Until January 1, 2013, the identification code of the General Classifier of Enterprises and Organizations, the taxpayer registration number, and the individual social code are used.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 12, 2007 No. 223.

This Law defines the goals, objectives, principles and legal basis for the creation and maintenance of national registers of identification numbers based on the formation of an identification number for an individual, a legal entity (branch and representative office).
