1. The volunteer coordinator is appointed by the organizer of the volunteer activity or the volunteer organization responsible for the implementation of the volunteer program (project) or volunteer action, or is elected by the volunteers who are part of the volunteer group from among them.

2. The volunteer coordinator instructs the volunteers, distributes the work among them, determines the place and scope of each volunteer's work, and monitors their performance.

3. The volunteer coordinator interacts with government agencies, local governments, other organizers of volunteer activities and with other volunteer organizations, as well as with volunteer groups.

4. The volunteer coordinator provides training for volunteers in safe methods and techniques of performing work and providing first aid to victims of accidents.

This Law establishes the legal basis, goals and objectives, principles, forms and types, as well as measures to support volunteer activities.
