Article 14-1. Pesticide disposal of the Plant Protection Act
1. Prohibited pesticides that have become unusable, containers from under them, as well as containers from under used pesticides, are subject to neutralization in accordance with the procedure for pesticide neutralization.
2. Special storage facilities (burial grounds) are used to neutralize pesticides, as well as special technical facilities for their disposal and destruction.
3. Permits for the construction of special storage facilities (burial grounds), as well as for the disposal of pesticides, are issued by the authorized body in the field of environmental protection.
4. The expediency of placing special storage facilities (burial grounds) in the regions and their number are determined by the local executive bodies of the regions, cities of republican significance and the capital in coordination with the authorized body in the field of environmental protection and the state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 3, 2002 No. 331.
This Law defines the legal, economic and organizational bases for carrying out activities in the field of plant protection from pests, weeds and plant diseases and is aimed at preserving crops, their quality and preventing harmful effects on human health and the environment when implementing phytosanitary measures in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
