1. Minimum standards for the provision of retail space for the population should be taken into account when developing integrated urban planning schemes for regional territories (draft district planning) and general plans for settlements.

2. The authorized body develops minimum standards for the provision of retail space to the population, taking into account the proposals of local executive bodies of the region, the city of republican significance, the capital, the district, and the city of regional significance.

3. When developing minimum standards for the provision of retail space for the population, the categories of settlements, the structure and density of the population in the settlement should be taken into account.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 12, 2004 No. 544.

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of trade activity, establishes the principles and organizational bases of its state regulation.
