Monitoring and accounting of individual radiation doses received by citizens when working with ionizing radiation sources, conducting medical X-ray radiological procedures, as well as those caused by the natural and man-made radiation background, are carried out within the framework of the unified state system for monitoring and accounting of individual radiation doses in accordance with the procedure determined by the state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 23, 1998 No. 219.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of radiation safety of the population, in order to protect their health from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.
