Local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital:

1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/03/2013 No. 124-V (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);

1-1) implement the state policy in the field of livestock breeding;

2) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 10.10.2022 No. 144-VII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication). 3) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 10.10.2022 No. 144-VII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication). 4) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 10.10.2022 No. 144-VII (effective sixty calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

5) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 17, 2014 No. 165-V (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

6) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 27.11.2015 No. 424-V (effective six months after the date of its first official publication);

7) subsidize measures aimed at preserving and restoring the gene pool of breeding animals, including breeds with a limited gene pool;

8) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN dated July 9, 1998 No. 278.

This Law defines the legal, organizational and economic bases for carrying out activities in the field of breeding livestock, is aimed at preserving and increasing the gene pool of breeding animals, as well as reproducing and improving their productive qualities, regulates the activities of government agencies, individuals and legal entities engaged in the field of breeding livestock.
