1. To carry out anti-terrorist operations, operational headquarters are provided with the necessary forces and means of government agencies engaged in countering terrorism.

2. In accordance with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan, special forces units of foreign States may be involved in anti-terrorist operations if necessary.

3. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan are used during the anti-terrorist operation by decision of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with this Law and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 13, 1999 No. 416.

This Law establishes the principles, purpose, legal and organizational basis for countering terrorism.
