Article 14. Local trade union The Law on Trade Unions
1. A local trade union is voluntarily created by employees of one or more organizations connected by common labor, industrial and professional interests.
2. A local trade union, voluntarily established by employees of small business entities, may unite employees of organizations of several types (subspecies) of economic activity.
3. A local trade union is the authorized representative of employees in social partnership at the organization(s) level.
4. A local trade union has the right to join a branch trade union and (or) a territorial association of trade unions as a member organization, subject to compliance with their charter.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 27, 2014 No. 211-V SAM.
This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise by citizens of the constitutional right to freedom of association, the creation, operation, reorganization and liquidation of trade unions.
