Article 14. Official movements, occupation of positions in the bodies of the diplomatic service Chapter 4. Passing the diplomatic service of the Law On the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. Official movements of diplomatic service personnel are carried out in accordance with official necessity, taking into account qualifications, professional training, principles of rotation and specialization of personnel.

Vacant positions in the bodies of the diplomatic service are filled in accordance with this Law, as well as the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of public service.

2. During the period of work in a foreign institution, a diplomatic service officer may be promoted no more than once, except in cases where his stay abroad has been extended due to official necessity.

This Law defines the legal basis, as well as the procedure for organizing the activities of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
