Article 14. Powers of the President of the Republic in relation to the Central Election Commission of the Constitutional Law on the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The President of the Republic:

     1) appoints the Chairman and two members of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     2) approves the Regulations on the Central Election Commission;

     3) hears information from the Chairman of the Central Election Commission on the preparation of the scheduled republican referendum, elections of deputies of Parliament, maslikhats, members of other local self-government bodies and on the results of the referendum and elections.

Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 26, 1995 No. 2733.

     This Constitutional Law, in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the legal status of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
