1. The requirements for the safety of chemical products and their life cycle processes, established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of chemical product safety, are mandatory for applicants (manufacturers, suppliers, importers) to fulfill.

2. The safety of chemical products is ensured by:

1) compliance by applicants (manufacturers, suppliers, importers) with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of safety of chemical products;

2) conducting production control over the compliance of the life cycle processes of chemical products with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of safety of chemical products;

3) confirmation of compliance of chemical products with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of safety of chemical products;

4) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/16/2014 No. 203-V (effective six months after the date of its first official publication);

5) the application of state regulatory measures in the field of safety of chemical products.

3. Chemical products that do not comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of chemical product safety, including the following indicators, are not allowed to participate in the life cycle processes.:

1) has obvious signs of harming human life and health, the environment;

2) does not meet the requirements for radiological indicators and categories of chemicals specified in paragraph 4 of Article 5 of this Law;

3) has no documents certifying its safety and confirming its origin;

4) does not have a label containing information provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of safety of chemical products;

5) does not correspond to the information provided.

4. Chemical products being developed, created and put into circulation must comply with the safety requirements established by technical regulations in the field of chemical product safety.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 302.

This Law establishes the legal basis for ensuring the safety of chemical products for the protection of human life and health, environmental protection and consumer interests in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
