1. Materials of counterintelligence activities are subject to storage and destruction only in the body carrying out counterintelligence activities, with the exception of information attached to the criminal case.

2. The terms of storage, the procedure for storing and destroying materials of counterintelligence activities are established by a regulatory legal act of the first head of the body engaged in counterintelligence activities.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 28, 2016 No. 35-VI SAM.

This Law defines the legal basis of counterintelligence activities and the system of guarantees of legality of their implementation.
