The amount of the insured sum is established by agreement of the parties in the compulsory environmental insurance contract, but the amount of the insured sum must be at least:

1) the 5,000-fold monthly calculation index established by the law on the republican budget for the relevant fiscal year, as of the date of conclusion of the compulsory environmental insurance contract with an individual entrepreneur;

2) the 65,000-fold monthly calculation index established by the law on the republican budget for the relevant fiscal year, as of the date of conclusion of the compulsory environmental insurance contract with a legal entity;

3) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 01/02/2021 No. 401-VI (effective from 07/01/2021).

This Law regulates public relations arising in the field of compulsory environmental insurance and establishes the legal, economic and organizational basis for its implementation.
