Article 14. The organization of mediators maintains a register of professional mediators The Law on Mediation
1. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 20.12.021 No. 84-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).
2. To be included in the register of professional mediators, mediators must submit to the mediation organization a copy of their identity card (a notarized copy in case of failure to submit the original identity card for verification), medical certificates from medical organizations providing drug treatment and a neuropsychiatric organization issued at the applicant's place of residence, a certificate of absence of criminal record, copies of a higher education diploma and a document (certificate) confirming the passage of special training in mediation.
3. The Register of Professional Mediators contains:
1) the surname, first name and patronymic (if any) of the mediator;
2) the legal address of the mediator;
3) contact details of the mediator (postal address or e-mail address or phone or fax number);
4) information about the field of mediation in which the mediator specializes;
5) information about the language in which the mediator is able to mediate;
6) information on the availability of a document (certificate) confirming the completion of training in the mediation training program;
7) information about the suspension of the mediator's activity.
4. Mediators are included by the organization of mediators in the register of professional mediators by notification within ten days from the date of receipt of the relevant application, provided that they comply with the requirements of paragraph 3 of this Article and Article 9 of this Law.
If a mediator is not included in the register of professional mediators, the organization of mediators must provide a reasoned written response on the reasons for the refusal within ten days from the date of receipt of the relevant application.
5. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 27, 2019 No. 292-VI (for the procedure of entry into force, see art. 2).
6. The register of professional mediators should be posted on the Internet resource of the organization of mediators in Kazakh and Russian and updated as mediators are included in it. Organizations of mediators have the right to publish a register of professional mediators in periodicals.
In order to inform the consumer about the presence of active subjects of pre-trial settlement of consumer disputes, the organization of professional mediators, as the registry is updated, sends information about the mediators (surname, first name and patronymic (if indicated in the identity document) of the mediator, legal address, contact details of the mediator (postal address or e-mail address or telephone or fax number), information about the field of mediation in which the mediator specializes, information about the language, on which the mediator is able to mediate) into a Unified information system for consumer protection.
7. In case of violation by the mediator of the requirements of this Law, the parties involved in the mediation procedure have the right to apply to the organization of mediators. Upon confirmation of a violation, the mediator's organization suspends the mediator's activities with an indication of this in the register of professional mediators for a period of six months.
8. The decision of the organization of mediators to refuse inclusion, exclusion from the list of professional mediators, or suspension of the mediator's activities may be appealed to the court.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of mediation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines its principles and procedure, as well as the status of the mediator.
