1. Military medical examination is a type of medical activity that is a complex of scientific, methodological, organizational and practical measures carried out for the optimal recruitment and improvement of medical care in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies and other issues provided for by law. 2. Military medical examination is carried out in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military formations, special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies to determine:

1) categories of citizens' fitness for military service or service in special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies, as well as for military training, fees of special state bodies or for accounting purposes for health reasons;

2) the causal relationship of diseases, injuries (wounds, injuries, contusions) (hereinafter referred to as mutilation) and death (death) among citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in connection with their military service, service in special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies and military training camps, special state bodies;

3) the severity of injuries that did not result in disability sustained by military personnel or employees in the performance of their duties, military service (official duties);

4) the psychophysiological qualities of the personality of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who enter the service in special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies of their employees, as well as those entering the state aviation, aviation personnel.

3. Full-time and freelance (permanent and temporary) military medical commissions are established to conduct military medical examinations in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, special state bodies and internal affairs bodies.

For special state bodies, the military medical examination is conducted by the military medical commission of the national security authorities and the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies and the state courier service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the military medical examination is conducted by the military medical commission of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Medical commissions are established by decision of local executive bodies to determine the degree of fitness of citizens for military service on a permanent basis in regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, cities and districts.

4. The procedure for conducting a military medical examination, as well as the composition and powers of the military medical examination commission, are determined by the Rules for conducting a military medical examination and the Regulations on Military Medical Examination Commissions.

5. The category of citizens' fitness for military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, service, military service in special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies, as well as state aviation is determined by conducting a medical examination.

When conducting a medical examination, the requirements for the state of health of citizens for service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies, as well as in state aviation are applied.
