Authorized body in the field of industrial development:

1) implements the Agreement on the introduction of uniform forms of vehicle passports (vehicle chassis passports) and passports of self-propelled vehicles and other Types of equipment and the organization of electronic passport systems in terms of the organization of electronic passport systems;

2) form and maintain the national part of the unified register of authorized bodies (organizations) and manufacturers of vehicles (vehicle chassis), self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment that issue passports of vehicles (vehicle chassis passports) and passports of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment, including registration of electronic passports of vehicles vehicles (chassis passports of vehicles) and electronic passports of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment;

3) submits a submission to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to determine the national operator (national administrator) of the electronic passport system;

4) determines the procedure and conditions for issuing an opinion on granting authority to organizations or refusing to grant authority to issue passports of vehicles (passports of vehicle chassis) and passports of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment, including registration of electronic passports of vehicles (passports of vehicle chassis) and electronic passports of self-propelled vehicles and other types techniques;

5) approves the requirements for the protection elements of the vehicle passport (vehicle chassis passport) and passport of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment;

6) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law establishes the legal basis and general conditions for the functioning of road traffic and ensuring its safety in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
