Authorized state bodies in the event of a radiation accident shall be guided by this Law and carry out their activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on civil protection and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of the use of atomic energy.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 23, 1998 No. 219.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of radiation safety of the population, in order to protect their health from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.
