1. The age category mark is applied to information products or indicated on it by the distributor by marking:

1) "under 6 years of age" – a "6–" sign in a diamond and (or) a text warning in the form of the phrase "for children under six years of age";

2) "from the age of 6" – a "6+" sign in a diamond and (or) a text warning in the form of the phrase "for children over the age of six";

3) "from the age of 12" – a "12+" sign in a diamond and (or) a text warning in the form of the phrase "for children over the age of twelve";

4) "from the age of 14" – a "14+" sign in a diamond and (or) a text warning in the form of the phrase "for children over the age of fourteen";

5) "from the age of 16" – a "16+" sign in a diamond and (or) a text warning in the form of the phrase "for children over the age of sixteen";

6) "from the age of 18" – the "18 +" sign in a diamond and (or) a text warning in the form of the phrase "prohibited for children."

2. Distribution of information products without an age category mark in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is not allowed, except for:

1) information, entertainment and sports TV and radio programs broadcast live;

2) periodicals specializing in the dissemination of information of a socio-political nature;

3) news, information-analytical, socio-political TV programs;

4) information products distributed through radio broadcasting;

5) advertising;

6) online resources, except online publications.

The age category mark may be applied to the information products listed in part one of this paragraph or indicated on it on a voluntary basis.

2-1. When distributing information products on TV channels, the age category mark is applied for the entire period of its broadcast.

3. In the case of the distribution of information products consisting of several parts belonging to different age categories, the age category sign must correspond to information products for older children.

4. The text warning about the age category must correspond to the language in which the information products are distributed.
