Article 15. Chairman of the Judicial Board of the Regional Court of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The chairman of the judicial board of the regional court is a judge and, along with performing the duties of a judge:

     1) decides on the organization of legal proceedings in the judicial board;

     2) preside over the meetings of the judicial board;

     3) organizes work on the study and generalization of judicial practice;

     4) provides information to the plenary session of the court on the activities of the judicial board;

     5) exercise other powers provided for by law.

     2. The Chairman of the judicial board makes proposals to the chairman of the regional court on the formation of specialized structures in the judicial board.

     3. In case of temporary absence of the chairman of the judicial board, the performance of his duties is assigned by the chairman of the court to one of the judges of the board.

     In case of early termination or expiration of the term of office of the chairman of the judicial board of the regional court, the temporary performance of his duties is assigned by the chairman of the regional court to the judge of the relevant judicial board of the regional court.
