Article 15. Military registration The Law on Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel

     1. Citizens are subject to military registration, with the exception of:

     1) women who do not have a military accounting specialty;

     2) persons who have been discharged from military service or excluded from military registration upon reaching the age limit for remaining in the reserve or who have been declared unfit for military service with exclusion from military registration;

     3) persons serving a custodial sentence;

     4) persons permanently residing outside the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     5) employees, as well as cadets and trainees of military, special educational institutions of law enforcement and special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, civil protection bodies.

     2. Military registration is organized and provided by local executive bodies.

     Military registration of conscripts and conscripts is carried out at their place of residence or place of temporary stay (residence) by local military authorities, and in settlements where they do not exist, military registration is provided by the akims of towns, villages, rural districts.

     3. The rules of military registration of conscripts and conscripts are approved by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     4. Military personnel serving in the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations are subject to registration with the relevant military management bodies (management bodies), military units (units) and institutions in accordance with the procedure established by the authorized body.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 16, 2012 No. 561-IV SAM.

     This Law regulates public relations in the field of military service by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and defines the foundations of the state policy on social security for military personnel.
