1. Persons who have successfully passed the qualification exam, taking into account the results of psychological testing, may, by decision of the Council, be sent to undergo a polygraph examination in order to obtain additional information and verify the accuracy of the information provided.

2. The main task of the study is to identify:

1) unlawful intentions;

2) latent behavioral disorders, negative addictions, use of narcotic, psychotropic and other psychoactive substances that cause mental and physical dependence;

3) concealment or distortion of personal data, information about income, property and property obligations, dual citizenship, use of forged documents;

4) previously existing facts of corruption offenses, transfer of secret or official information to unauthorized persons;

5) contacts with prohibited public associations, criminal and terrorist organizations, or participation in commercial structures, if this was not previously part of their official duties.;

6) abuse of official authority.

3. The conclusion of the polygraph examination is advisory in nature.

4. The procedure for passing a polygraph examination is determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
