The decision of the local executive body of the region, the city of republican significance and the capital to refuse to grant, extend or revoke refugee status may be appealed in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 4, 2009 No. 216-IV.

This Law defines the legal status of asylum seekers and refugees in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
