Vehicles must meet the requirements for energy efficiency, safety of human life and health, and the environment established by technical regulations in the field of transport, have a document confirming compliance, and be registered in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The procedure for confirming the conformity of vehicles is determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Vehicles that do not meet the safety requirements established in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation are not subject to import, sale and operation.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 21, 1994 No. 156.

This Law defines the foundations of the legal, economic and organizational activities of transport in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
