Article 16-2. Formation of the Cassation courts of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. Cassation courts shall be formed, reorganized, renamed and abolished by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, agreed with the Supreme Judicial Council.

     2. The total number of judges of the cassation courts is approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, agreed with the Supreme Judicial Council.

     The number of judges for each court of cassation is determined by the Chairman of the Supreme Court in consultation with the Supreme Judicial Council on the basis of a submission from the authorized body.
