Breeding products (materials) are subject to registration in the information base of breeding and breeding work and (or) on paper in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.

Data on breeding animals is entered into the republican register of breeding animals in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.

Data on the origin, productivity and other qualities of breeding animals of a certain breed, taking into account their breeding value, are entered in the studbook.

The data entered in the studbook and the republican register of breeding animals are available to interested persons.

In order to confirm the origin, productive and other qualities of an animal, individuals and legal entities keep records in accordance with the procedure and forms approved by the authorized body.

The LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN dated July 9, 1998 No. 278.

This Law defines the legal, organizational and economic bases for carrying out activities in the field of breeding livestock, is aimed at preserving and increasing the gene pool of breeding animals, as well as reproducing and improving their productive qualities, regulates the activities of government agencies, individuals and legal entities engaged in the field of breeding livestock.
