Scientific research in the field of livestock breeding is carried out by scientific organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan with an agricultural profile. These organizations, together with the authorized body, carry out the development of:

1) state scientific and technical programs in the field of livestock breeding;

2) Bonus instructions;

3) methods and technical means for the assessment and genetic control of breeding products (material);

4) information support systems in the field of livestock breeding, including in breeding and breeding work.

5) the rules of the index assessment;

6) rules for conducting a molecular genetic examination;

7) rules for the evaluation of breeding breeding animals for the quality of offspring;

8) rules for evaluating (testing) breeding animals based on their own productivity;

9) rules for conducting genomic evaluation.

The LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN dated July 9, 1998 No. 278.

This Law defines the legal, organizational and economic bases for carrying out activities in the field of breeding livestock, is aimed at preserving and increasing the gene pool of breeding animals, as well as reproducing and improving their productive qualities, regulates the activities of government agencies, individuals and legal entities engaged in the field of breeding livestock.
