1. An application for the issuance of a security document is submitted to an expert organization by a person who has the right to a security document in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 10 of this Law (hereinafter referred to as the applicant).

2. The application for the issuance of a security document shall be submitted in Kazakh or Russian. Other application documents are provided in Kazakh, Russian or other languages. If other application documents are submitted in another language, their translation into Kazakh or Russian is attached to the application. The translation must be submitted within two months after the receipt by the expert organization of an application containing documents in another language. Subject to appropriate payment, this period may be extended, but not more than two months.

If the transfer is not submitted within the prescribed period, the application is considered unsubstantiated.

3. The application and information on the course of its consideration are not provided to third parties, except in cases stipulated by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
