Article 16. Foreign passport of the Law On Identity Documents

     1. A foreign passport certifies the identity of a foreigner or stateless person and confirms their legal status.

     2. The grounds for issuing and the validity period of a foreign passport are determined by the legislation of a foreign State.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 29, 2013 No. 73-V.

     This Law defines the legal basis of identity documents, establishes requirements for their registration, and regulates activities related to the production, issuance, replacement, delivery, seizure and destruction of identity documents.
