1. The National Guard personnel consists of military personnel and civilian personnel.

2. Military personnel serving in the National Guard have military ranks, insignia and uniform prescribed for them. They are subject to regulatory legal acts regulating the conditions of service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the requirements of the general military regulations of the Armed Forces, other troops and military formations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, subject to the exceptions and additions provided for by this Law.

3. The employment of civilian personnel of the National Guard is regulated in accordance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of activity of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
