Article 16. Soil monitoring The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Soil Protection   

      1. Soil monitoring shall be carried out within the framework of land monitoring in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

      2. The organization and conduct of state soil monitoring, with the exception of monitoring soil pollution in residential territories, shall be carried out by the authorized body.

      3. Persons engaged in economic and other activities that may have a negative impact on soil shall be obliged to carry out industrial soil monitoring. 

On soil protection, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 8, 2026 No. 341-VIII SAM 

This Law regulates public relations in the field of soil protection and defines their legal, economic and organizational bases.
