1. The technology readiness level is an assessment of the degree of development and completion of the stage of scientific research submitted to the competition for grant, program-targeted financing, commercialization of the results of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities by subjects of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities.

2. The assessment of the degree of elaboration and completion of the scientific research stage is carried out in accordance with the methodology for determining the level of technology readiness during the state scientific and technical expertise of scientific and scientific-technical projects and programs.

3. Assessment of the state of available material, technical and human resources of subjects of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities is carried out in accordance with the methodology for determining the level of technological readiness of organizations during their accreditation.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of science, scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, commercialization of the results of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, defines the basic principles and mechanisms of functioning and development of the national scientific system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
