1. Standardization documents include:

1) international standards, classifiers of technical and economic information of international organizations for standardization;

2) regional standards, classifiers of technical and economic information, rules and recommendations on standardization of regional organizations for standardization;

3) national standards and national classifiers of technical and economic information;

4) Recommendations on standardization;

5) standards, classifiers of technical and economic information, rules, norms and recommendations on standardization of foreign countries;

6) standards of organizations.

2. Standardization documents, according to which standardization objects are put into circulation in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, should not contradict the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law defines the legal framework for the functioning of the national standardization system.
