Article 17. Acquisition of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Refugee Law

     Refugees acquire the citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on citizenship.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 4, 2009 No. 216-IV.

     This Law defines the legal status of asylum seekers and refugees in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
