Government support in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement is provided in the following areas:

1) encouraging the use of energy-saving equipment;

2) assistance in the implementation of educational activities and information support for energy conservation and energy efficiency measures;

3) implementation of a comprehensive energy efficiency improvement plan;

4) conducting scientific research in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement, including financing the development and development of a methodological and regulatory legal framework in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement;

5) disposal of mercury-containing energy-saving lamps used by the population;

6) establishment of training centers;

7) providing assistance to the owners of residential buildings (residential buildings), residential premises (apartments) to pay for measures aimed at ensuring energy conservation and improving energy efficiency in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on housing relations;

8) assistance in the implementation of projects under energy service agreements;

9) assistance in the implementation of projects within the framework of the energy efficiency map.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 13, 2012 No. 541-IV.

This Law regulates public relations and defines the legal, economic and organizational foundations of the activities of individuals and legal entities in the field of energy conservation and energy efficiency improvement.
