Local representative bodies, heads of organizations, within the limits of their competence, may establish additional measures of social support and benefits for travel for medical treatment (in both directions), as well as the provision of material and other types of assistance to veterans and other persons covered by this Law.

This Law defines the organizational, economic and legal basis for the provision of social support measures to veterans and other persons covered by this Law.
