Article 17. Status of a charitable organization The Law on Charity
1. Charities are divided into international and national charities by status.
International charitable organizations include charitable organizations whose activities extend to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and beyond.
Republican charitable organizations include charitable organizations whose branches and representative offices operate in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Charitable organizations established and registered in accordance with the established procedure, regardless of their status, have the right to establish unions (associations) of charitable organizations on the basis of constituent agreements and charters adopted by unions (associations), forming new legal entities, as well as to be a member of international unions (associations).

This Law regulates public relations arising in the field of charity.
