1. State archives have the right to provide paid activities for the sale of goods (works, services).

Paid activities for the sale of goods (works, services) include:

1) Ordering;

2) conducting courses and seminars on the modern basics of documentation and documentation management on orders (requests) from individuals and legal entities;

3) restoration, conservation, binding of archival files and documents, production of archive boxes;

4) making insurance copies, restoring the text of archival documents;

5) copying of archival documents;

6) translation of archival documents into electronic form by orders (requests) of individuals and legal entities, with the exception of archival documents specified in paragraph 1 of Article 15-1 of this Law;

7) organization and holding of documentary exhibitions on orders (requests) from individuals and legal entities;

8) identification of genealogical and thematic information based on orders (applications) from individuals and legal entities;

9) development of lists of documents with indication of retention periods, nomenclatures of cases;

10) publication and implementation of methodological literature, collections of archival documents, educational and other publications;

11) depository storage of archival documents.

2. In case of commercial use of documents, the ownership right to them remains with their owner.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 22, 1998 No. 326-1.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of collection, acquisition, storage, state accounting and use of documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the state administration of archival affairs in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
