1. The national classifier of technical and economic information is recognized as the general classifier of goods, works and services.

2. The General Classifier of Goods, Works and Services provides a unified system of unification in the classification of goods, works and services by systematizing a set of codes and names of classification groups of objects of technical and economic information.

3. The General Classifier of Goods, Works and Services applies to all types of goods, works and services.

4. The general Classifier of goods, works and services is used by government agencies, individuals and legal entities operating in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and participating in the classification and coding of technical and economic information and (or) using them in their activities.

This Law defines the legal framework for the functioning of the national standardization system.
