1. Illegal restriction of the right of access to information may be appealed in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. A complaint against the actions (inaction) of officials, as well as against decisions of state bodies, shall be filed no later than three months after the citizen has become aware of the commission of an action or decision by the relevant official or body.

This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise of everyone's constitutional right to freely receive and disseminate information in any manner not prohibited by law.
