Article 18. Planned increased exposure of citizens involved in the elimination of the consequences of a radiation accident On the radiation safety of the population
1. The planned increased exposure of citizens involved in the elimination of the consequences of a radiation accident, rescue and emergency work and decontamination, can only be due to the need to save people and prevent even greater exposure.
2. Planned increased exposure of citizens involved in the elimination of the consequences of radiation accidents is allowed once per lifetime with voluntary consent and prior information about possible radiation doses and health risks.
3. The types and amounts of compensation and compensation for damage caused by radiation exposure to the health of persons involved in the performance of these works shall be established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 23, 1998 No. 219.
This Law regulates public relations in the field of radiation safety of the population, in order to protect their health from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.
