When applying for public service, citizens assume the restrictions established by this Law and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan in order to prevent actions that may lead to the use of their official powers and authority based on them in personal, group and other non-official interests.

These restrictions are fixed in writing by the Personnel Management Service (HR department) within thirty calendar days from the date of admission to public service.

Failure to comply with the restrictions established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan entails refusal of admission to public service or dismissal.
